About us and how it all began...

Dogwood Homes began with a husband and wife team and has grown over the years in to much more.  Joe is the General Contractor and Ashley (that's me) handles the design and organization of the projects.   We have a trusted team of employees and sub-contractors who help our projects run smoothly and efficiently.  We are thankful and blessed to be doing what we love, while being able to help others get the home they desire. 

Here is how it all began...

In 2002, we purchased our first "fixer upper" and started the process of taking an old, outdated 1950s bungalow and turning it in to a quaint cottage in Greensboro's desirable Kirkwood neighborhood.  We continued to seek out dilapidated properties that needed to be brought back to life, and began building a rental portfolio as well.  Eventually, we decided to take our business and experience to a new level and branched in to new home construction as well. We have now remodeled and built over 100 homes and continue to add to that portfolio as we speak.  We are currently mid-way through finishing our Dogwood Village development in the heart of Clemmons, with just a few homes left to build there in the coming year.
